All teams are responsible for maintaining their own Appropedia sites as work progresses. The information is important to allow other people to connect with your work, and can also be used to help write articles about your work. It is fine if the team wants to maintain a separate wiki on Wetpaint or any other site, but it is important to have a comprehensive outline on Appropedia because the more information on the site, the more likely that someone will stumble on it while searching. Each site should have: * Clear statement of the problem. Make sure to provide context. * Design specifications or some explanation of what criteria the design must meet. * Explanation of how your design works. Also include what stage of design and prototyping the team has achieved. * Pictures of your technology. If you have SolidWorks or CAD drawings, those are best, otherwise photographs and sketches can effectively convey your design. * Costs associated with the technology * Team members and partners. * References and citations. Please make sure that other people can verify the information. * If there are words in your article relevant to other pages, add links to other pages on appropedia that may have relevant content. Connecting pages makes it more likely that people will find your site. Extra credit: If your team is multi-lingual, it would be great to keep multi-lingual versions of the site. If you need help with this, please let us know which page will be your primary for edits, and we can help keep translations up to date. If you are having trouble with any of the uploading or formatting feel free to email Zubaida (zubaida.habib@gmail.com) for help. Remember, you are responsible for keeping the content of your site up to date.
